SENIOR KITAS & VISA SERVICES

Senior KITAS and VISA are a limited stay permit issued by the Directorate General of Immigration for senior tourists from abroad to stay in Indonesia for 1 year and can be extended annually up to a maximum of 5 years. After that, if the foreigners decide to stay in Indonesia, they can continue to make a KITAP.

Requirement for Senior Foreigners to make a Senior KITAS

  • Minimum age of 55 years;
  • Have a financial evidence (pension money);
  • Have health and life insurance;
  • There is a guarantor from Indonesian citizen;
  • A passport that is still valid for at least 18 months;
  • A photo with a red background;
  • No longer working;
  • Be in a good health.
  • Attach passport that is still valid for at least 18 months ;
  • A completed and signed visa application form (printed on two-sided paper);
  • One recent 3X4 cm color photograph (attached to the visa application form);
  • Copy of approval letter from the Director General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia (TELEX);
  • Ticket reservation (plane, boat, ferry);
  • Evidence from the bank/pension fund institution of the origin country or in Indonesia that proves the availability of funds of at least USD 1,500 (one thousand five hundred United States Dollar) per month as proof having living costs for the applicant during stay in Indonesia;
  • An original bank statement for details transactions for the last 3 months;
  • Letter of guarantee (along with a copy of the identity card of the guarantor);
  • Company Business License (SIUP) and NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) of travel agents;
  • Health and Life Insurance and legal liability to third parties in the civil field in the country of origin and in Indonesia;
  • The declaration letter stating that they will employ at least 2 Indonesia citizens;
  • Residential information during stay in Indonesia based on the purchase of accommodation facilities for at least USD 35,000 or rent per month at least:
    • USD 500 to live in the areas of Jakarta, Bandung and Bali;
    • USD 300 to live in other areas in Java, Batam and Medan; or
    • USD 200 to live in areas other than those listed above
